North Coast Festival is here, plus new tour dates and more

Chicago, where you at? When we heard we were going to play North Coast Music Festival, the feeling of excitement was overwhelming. This is one of the city’s premier festivals and we are so happy to be part of it. Headliners are Pretty Lights, STS9, Umphrey’s McGee, and Girl Talk. The lineup consist of top notch EDM bands as well as hard hitting rockers. Kris and Joel will be playing with Umphrey’s on Saturday night, then again on Sunday late night at the Congress Theater. DTM keyboardist Joe Hettinga is playing with his band Strange Arrangement at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Digital Tape Machine has a great slot at 6:15p.m. on Sunday. You can see the full lineup right here.
DTM is working hard on a new album. We have spent countless months on this new project. The songs are coming along better than we expected. There is a lot of ear candy for your listening pleasure. Details of the release will be coming out in just a short while. The band is keeping very fresh by writing new material. We will be playing some new stuff at our North Coast set. One song is a very neo-soulesque vibe, something we think a lot of DTM fans haven’t heard from us. We are really excited to show it to you and for you to hear our unreleased material.
Finally, we will be announcing at North Coast a Midwest run and a show that is out of the country. For the first time DTM will play out of the states and we couldn’t be more excited. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter. Thanks for your support, and see you at North Coast Music Festival this weekend.
